ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Venardos Circus, a Broadway-style, animal-free classic circus showcase, will return to Asheville for a three week residency outside the Tanger Outlets.

A big top tent will house the production from Thursday, Oct. 2 to Sunday, Oct. 19 at 800 Brevard Road.

Shows will not be held on Tuesday or Wednesday, but weekends will feature several performances throughout the day.

Visiting Venardos? What to know

The Venardos Circus was envisioned by creator Kevin Venardos as a return to traditional circus entertainment, from aerialist stunts and jokester gags to classic concessions like cotton candy.

Tickets are sold in three tiers:

  • General Admission, which offers first-come, first-served seating to the left and right of the stage.
  • Premier Gallery, which offers an elevated view of the show on risers at the front of the stage.
  • VIP Ringmaster, which offers reserved, cushioned seats in the first two rows around the stage, waiter service for concessions and the first opportunity for post-show cast photos.

Tickets begin at $18 for children and $30 for adults and can be purchased here.
