ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Save the Woods, a community-led effort to preserve 45 acres of urban forest around the University of North Carolina Asheville, have organized their latest fundraiser in partnership with Urban Orchard Cider Co. The event, which features an auction and free drinks, will be held later this month.
Silent auction at Urban Orchard
The Save the Woods fundraiser will consist of a silent auction event from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23 at Urban Orchard, 24 Buxton Ave.
The auction will feature over 70 items to bid on, including original artwork from over 40 local artists and products or services from 30 local businesses.
The first 50 guests to walk through the door will receive a token for a free drink.
