Rewind, WISE Sports Radio to carry full football schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville Media Group will carry a full slate of college and NFL football games this fall on its stations Rewind 100.3 and WISE Sports Radio.

Rewind 100.3 will feature Tennessee Volunteers games, beginning with East Tennessee State on Sept. 6. Matchups with Georgia (Sept. 13), UAB (Sept. 20) and Mississippi State (Sept. 27) follow. Other highlights include games against Alabama (Oct. 18), Oklahoma (Nov. 1) and Florida (Nov. 22). The schedule also includes open weeks on Oct. 4 and Nov. 8. Kickoff times later in the season will be announced.

WISE Sports Radio will broadcast Western Carolina University games, starting Sept. 6 at Wake Forest. The Catamounts face Elon on Sept. 13, Samford on Sept. 20 and Campbell on Sept. 27. Their schedule also features matchups against Furman (Oct. 11), The Citadel (Oct. 18), Mercer (Nov. 8) and ETSU (Nov. 15), with playoff coverage to be determined.

WISE will also air select NFL games, beginning Sept. 7 with the Detroit Lions at the Green Bay Packers. Other games include Philadelphia at Kansas City (Sept. 14), the Rams at the Eagles (Sept. 21), the Chargers at the Giants (Sept. 28) and Dallas at the Jets (Oct. 5). Additional broadcasts will be announced during the season.
