ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) —  The Asheville Tourists’ game against the Rome Emperors on Wednesday night was suspended in the third inning because of rain.

The game will resume at 5:05 p.m. Thursday at McCormick Field, followed by a second, seven-inning contest. One ticket is good for both games, and tickets from Wednesday’s game may be exchanged for any upcoming game this season.

Saturday’s schedule has also been adjusted to a single-admission doubleheader featuring two seven-inning games. The first pitch is set for 5:05 p.m., with gates opening at 4 p.m. A jersey giveaway will begin when gates open.
