Man arrested after midnight break-in at downtown hotel

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville Police Department officers apprehended Joseph Fuller Anderson, 39, at the Downtown Inn & Suites after a report from staff that a man had broken into the hotel electrical room.

APD officers responded to a breaking and entering call around 12:02 a.m., Monday, April 27 at the Downtown Inn & Suites, located at the 120 block of Patton Avenue in downtown Asheville. After arriving on the property, officers located Anderson and brought him into custody without incident.

Anderson was charged with Breaking and Entering and Second Degree Trespassing and booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $200 bond.
