ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — River Arts District art gallery Pink Dog Creative has announced a new art exhibition opening later this fall.

“Evolution Incubation Refinement”

“Evolution Incubation Refinement” is the name of an upcoming exhibit by RAD artist Pat Phillips, a painter and jeweler who has been working in the Asheville arts district since 2012.

The exhibition will run from Thursday, Oct. 30 to Sunday, Nov. 30 at Pink Dog, 348 Depot St., where Phillips also maintains a studio.

From 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, an opening reception for “Evolution Incubation Refinement” will be held at the gallery.

“Spending a lifetime as a maker of art there is bound to be constant evolution, quiet incubation and careful refinement. When sixty years of work come together, a common thread begins to emerge,” Phillips wrote about the exhibit in her artist statement.
