ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A new downtown boutique will celebrate its grand opening Saturday evening with live music and the launch of its fall clothing line.

Vida by Vivian, at 13 Broadway beside Thai Orchid, will host the event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Guests will hear live French guitar by Albi, of the band Albi and The Lifters, while browsing the store’s debut collection.

Owner Vivian Morgani specializes in clothing made from natural fabrics and fibers, with a focus on Italian linens. She sources items from around the world, prioritizing fair-trade and women-owned businesses.

Morgani said her ability to buy directly through long-standing international relationships helps keep prices accessible despite rising costs.
