Mountain Rivalry Now Set for 1 p.m. Start on Saturday, Dec. 8

The 52nd edition of the Mountain Rivalry between UNC Asheville men’s basketball and Western Carolina is now scheduled for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Kimmel Arena.

The contest will be the first between the two at Kimmel Arena since the Bulldogs picked up a thrilling 59-57 win over the Catamounts on Dec. 17, 2016.

The win came in the 50th all-time meeting between the two rivals.
