Women’s Basketball Hosts Fourth Annual Fantasy Camp in One Week on Thursday, Oct. 25

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The fourth annual Bulldog Fantasy Camp returns to Kimmel Arena, as the UNC Asheville women’s basketball team is set to host the camp on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6-8 p.m.

Bulldog fans get the opportunity to live out their dream of being an NCAA Division I basketball player as well as learn from the Asheville program that has been to three straight postseason tournaments.

Men and women 21-years-old or older can attend the fantasy camp regardless of playing ability.

Campers will participate in fundamental stations, shooting contests, agility drills and a variety of games designed for campers of all ages and abilities. Each camper receives a t-shirt and will get one-on-one opportunities to meet and greet with coaches and players of the UNC Asheville women’s basketball team.

The UNC Asheville women’s basketball team will open its 2018-19 schedule on Thursday, Nov. 8, as the Bulldogs travel to Charlotte for a non-conference bout. After a date with the Lady Vols on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., the Bulldogs host their first game of the season inside Kimmel Arena on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. versus Mountain Rival Western Carolina.
