ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville cross country teams will take their turn in the Bulldog Blue & White Showdown Presented by TD Bank Wednesday evening. The Bulldogs will be competing at the Karl Straus Track facility beginning at 8 p.m.

Blue & White Rewind – The Bulldog Blue & White Showdown began last weekend with Swimming & Diving and Golf. The Blue team picked up the win in the competition from the Justice Center Pool on Saturday, while the White squad evened the score at a point a side with a victory on the links Sunday.

Format for Wednesday – The men’s and women’s teams will have separate races. The women will compete in a 3000m run, while the men will take part in a 5000m contest. Both races will be scored cross country style. The place a runner finishes is the amount of points he or she receives with the lowest team score wins. The top five athletes from each team will be scored and in the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will go to the team whose runner won the race.

Rosters for Blue & White – Like the other events this week, the Bulldogs will be split into Blue & White sides. The rosters for Wednesday can be found below.
