Women’s Soccer takes the pitch in Blue & White Showdown on Wednesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women’s soccer team will compete in the week-long Bulldog Blue & White Showdown on Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

Blue & White Rewind – The Bulldog Blue & White Showdown began last weekend with Swimming & Diving and Golf. The Blue team picked up the win in the competition from the Justice Center Pool on Saturday, while the White squad evened the score at a point a side with a victory on the links Sunday.

Format for Wednesday – Wednesday’s match will have four 20-minute periods with short breaks in between each. Should a tie occur, a three-person penalty shootout will take place to decide a winner.
